Questions? We have answers.

Questions? We have answers.

How the low levels effect my Boating experience?

Lake Powell’s water levels have dropped over the past few years, but there’s still so much to explore by boat. While the shoreline has changed in most of the canyons and bays, it is simply different, but far from gone. There is plenty of deep water, canyons, bays and coves to explore. Please read more about Lake Powell water levels here.

Can I visit Rainbow Bridge by boat?

Unfortunately, no. With Dangling Rope Marina being closed, there is simply not enough fuel to make it to Rainbow Bridge and back to the marina. Also, the dock at Rainbow Bridge is temporarily closed and not manned by the NPS. However, there are many other wonderful coves and canyons to visit that are with a half-day rental and tank of fuel such as (in order from Antelope Point Marina) Navajo Canyon, Warm Creek, Labyrinth Canyon, Gunsight Canyon, Face Canyon, West Canyon & Last Chance.

Can I visit Horseshoe Bend by small watercraft?

Customers are unable to go to Horseshoe Bend from any of the marina’s on Lake Powell. Horseshoe Bend is located down the river past the Glen Canyon Dam.

Can we bring our own fuel?

No. Marina Cart Service will not transport fuel due to safety hazards. Bringing gas cans onto rental boats voids your rental contract.

Why do customers have to pay the entrance fee even with a boat reserved?

Park entrance fees are NOT included with tours or rentals. All visitors entering any of Lake Powell’s marinas (which are all located within National Recreation Area) are required to pay the park’s entrance fee.

Are customers allowed to camp in the Antelope Canyon?

No. Camping is not allowed in Antelope Canyon. The best way to experience Antelope Canyon is via kayak, rental boat or on a guided tour.

What if we have an emergency? Rescues done by Boat Rentals?

Sinking boat, Life-threatening Emergencies, or personal injury, please HAIL National Park Service on Marine Channel 16. If you have another type of urgent boat malfunction (i.e. steering, motor or generator issues) contact Antelope Point Marina Boat Rentals.

Rescues done by Boat Rentals?

Depending on the nature of your emergency, our Boat Rental team may be able to rescue you. The cost of the rescue is paid for through the forfeiture of your deposit.

Can I take my small boat rental, SeaDoo or Kayak into Antelope Canyon?

With current water levels, kayaks are the only watercraft at this time that can get all the way into the Canyon. You may beach your kayak and take a self-guided hike.
