Beach Bags knows Lake Powell’s canyons, coves, and bays like the back of their hand and can show you the best overnight locations for enjoying your stay.

Effortless Anchoring

Vacations shouldn’t start out with a lot of hard work. Beach Bags will meet you on the lake, deploy Beach Bags Anchors in your preferred location, and secure your houseboat to the shoreline. When you’re ready to leave, they’ll come and retrieve the System too.

A Great Night's Sleep

Sleep tight when Lake Powell’s notorious weather arrives, knowing you’re professionally and safely secured to a strong and powerful Beach Bags Anchor System.

More Privacy

Anchoring with Beach Bags opens up countless new anchorages away from the most crowded beaches. Unlike traditional fluke sand anchoring (provided with all rental houseboats). Beach Bags do not require deep sand which means the anchor crew can always find you a great, private spot on the rock, sand or a mix of the two.

Piloting Service Option

For an extra $100, there’s nothing better than having a professional houseboat captain manning the helm and placing your boat on the beach. It’s a no-brainer option for stress-free anchoring and securing the very best locations in good weather or boat.

Antelope Point Marina Policies

A reservation is confirmed only after receipt of all requested deposits by the due dates shown on invoice. Failure to pay deposits/payments by their due date will result in the loss of your reservation and, in the case of final payment not being paid on time, will subject your reservation to any applicable cancellation fees (as outlined in Cancellation Policies below)
  • Houseboat Payment Policy: A deposit of first day rental price is required to make a reservation (this payment goes towards the total reservation price). Houseboat rental must be fully paid for 60 days prior to the trip’s departure. Houseboat rental not paid in full will be cancelled on the 59th day and a cancellation fee will be applied.
  • Houseboat Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel your houseboat reservation notify us at least 60 days prior to your departure date.
  • 60 days or more from departure day = $150 cancellation fee per houseboat.
  • 45-59 days prior to departure day = loss of deposit.
  • 0-44 days prior to departure = loss of full prepayment.
  • Important: Full payment is due at least 60 days prior to departure date. If full rental payment is not received at least 60 days prior to departure date, your reservation will be considered cancelled and your entire deposit will be forfeited. Please note: that reservations made less than 60 days prior to departure date must be paid in full within 48 hours of making your reservation. If you must reschedule your vacation or change your equipment rental during the same year, there is a $50.00 service fee when the original departure date is more than 60 days in advance. Rescheduling less than 60 days prior to the original departure date may result in loss of deposit and/or payments the same as a cancellation (see above). Due to the limited quantity of available craft and the advanced nature of houseboat reservations, it is important to note that there are no expectations to the cancellation policy due to personal emergencies. For this reason, we recommend Trip Cancellation Protection for boat rental reservation.

Trip Cancellation Protection

Plans change. Emegencies happen. Trip Cancellation Protection is a valuable option for groups that make last minute changes to their reservations. This option protects you vacation investment in case of the need for cancellation of your rental.

  • When you purchase this protection, your houseboat deposit and rental payment become fully refundable if you cancel your trip due to an emergency, whether it is for medical, professional, or personal reasons.
  • Trip Cancellation may only be purchased 60+ days prior to the start of your trip no more than 7 days from when your reservation was made.
  • Trip Cancellation Protection is not available inside of 60 days from arrival at the marina and cannot be cancelled or transferred once purchased. If you reservation dates change, and Tip Cancellation Protection has been purchased, this protection cannot be applied to the new reservation within 60 days of your trip.
