Definitely worth a boat tour but the disorganized golf cart shuttle situation needs help (removed a star for that alone). The boat tour was amazing and breathtaking views. Tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. However, you have to wait for a golf cart shuttle to get from the visitor center/parking lot down to the marina and to get back. People will try to beat you to a golf cart even though they know you were waiting there long before they got there. No forced line situation and it takes staff awhile to shuttle you around. Wait times can be 15-60 mins depending. They do have a 2-way walkie-talkie/call box to request a ride when you’re at the marina. If management would be able to organize the golf cart situation more, it would be a 5 star review from me. I assume it’s all due to short staff? But saw a lot of employees sitting around or wandering around. Overall, if you can have some patience with wait times and the disorganization, the experience on the lake is well worth it.
We rented a double kayak here and it was incredible! They have go carts that shuttle you from here down to the docks where you check in, and get your life vest and kayak. We had a double person kayak and kayaked to Antelope canyon. It was about 1 mile on lake Powell to the canyon opening, and another 2/2.5 miles in the canyon depending on the water level. From there you can get out and hike the rest of the canyon. You will most likely have to walk through some water. We hiked about 2.5 miles in and then decided to turn back around. The first mile kayaking on lake Powell can be pretty choppy with all of the other boats on the lake so it is best to go early in the morning. Bring water and snacks and prepare for a 5-6 hour adventure! They will also shuttle you back up the parking lot at the end.
Rent a pontoon boat from the marina. Please have extra time for you to wait for the golf cart to pick you up to drive you to your boat ( at least for now when there isn’t a lot of water) . It took about 30 minutes but the drive alone it’s a lot of fun. At the end you need to pay for the gas that you used ( but it’s always like that). We have a lot of fun as a family. Highly recommended.
An amazing place to for kayaking and paddle boarding in the canyons. It has higher waves so I feel paddle boarding might be difficult for beginners but definitely worth a try. Affordable rates, 40$ for double kayaks with paddle.
Waves and wind makes this an intermediate difficulty level place for this activity.
Excellent place to rent kayaks and to get a foretaste of what it must be like to kayak into Glen Canyon. My next step will be to set up a trip where they haul you into the Utah back country by Orange Cliffs and you have a week to kayak back. For now, I only saw the white sandstone cliffs .....

If it is your first time at our prestigious marina, you should first park your vehicle at our customer parking, locate guest services at the turnaround, and ask for assistance to your destination. Most of our facilities are down on the lake and need cart transportation.

Additional Details
- Rental Rates: Tax not included in rental rates, optional damage insurance available for a fee. Rentals are limited to adults 21 years of age or older with a valid automobile driver’s license.
- Marina Entrance Fee: We are located within the Navajo Nation. There is a $30 entrance fee per vehicle and all its passengers and is valid for 7 consecutive days. The following passes will give you free entrance: National Park Service Pass, Golden Age Pass, Senior Pass.
- Reservation Deposit: A first day’s rental deposit, prior to any applicable discounts or promotions, is required to confirm your reservation if made before 60 days from departure date and will be applied directly toward the rental rate.
- Fuel: Houseboat rentals depart with a full tank of fuel/oil. It is the responsibility of the renter to return the boat full.
- Turnaround Fee: Need content for here…
- Pets: We understand pets are part of many families and therefor vacations. We welcome your well-behaved dogs for a $100 non-refundable pet fee, per pet.
- Anchoring: Avoid the stress of finding a great anchorage and the work of digging holes. Enjoy the night’s sleep and leave the task of securing your houseboat to the Beach Bags Crew. Take advantage of the special Antelope Point Marina exclusive price of $500 (regularly $1,300+) to provide the best anchoring services without the risk of NPS fines. Book Your Beach Bag

Antelope Point Marina Policies
A reservation is confirmed only after receipt of all requested deposits by the due dates shown on invoice. Failure to pay deposits/payments by their due date will result in the loss of your reservation and, in the case of final payment not being paid on time, will subject your reservation to any applicable cancellation fees (as outlined in Cancellation Policies below)
- Houseboat Payment Policy: A deposit of first day rental price is required to make a reservation (this payment goes towards the total reservation price). Houseboat rental must be fully paid for 60 days prior to the trip’s departure. Houseboat rental not paid in full will be cancelled on the 59th day and a cancellation fee will be applied.
- Houseboat Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel your houseboat reservation notify us at least 60 days prior to your departure date.
- 60 days or more from departure day = $150 cancellation fee per houseboat.
- 45-59 days prior to departure day = loss of deposit.
- 0-44 days prior to departure = loss of full prepayment.
- Important: Full payment is due at least 60 days prior to departure date. If full rental payment is not received at least 60 days prior to departure date, your reservation will be considered cancelled and your entire deposit will be forfeited. Please note: that reservations made less than 60 days prior to departure date must be paid in full within 48 hours of making your reservation. If you must reschedule your vacation or change your equipment rental during the same year, there is a $50.00 service fee when the original departure date is more than 60 days in advance. Rescheduling less than 60 days prior to the original departure date may result in loss of deposit and/or payments the same as a cancellation (see above). Due to the limited quantity of available craft and the advanced nature of houseboat reservations, it is important to note that there are no expectations to the cancellation policy due to personal emergencies. For this reason, we recommend Trip Cancellation Protection for boat rental reservation.
Trip Cancellation Protection
Plans change. Emegencies happen. Trip Cancellation Protection is a valuable option for groups that make last minute changes to their reservations. This option protects you vacation investment in case of the need for cancellation of your rental
- When you purchase this protection, your houseboat deposit and rental payment become fully refundable if you cancel your trip due to an emergency, whether it is for medical, professional, or personal reasons.
- Trip Cancellation may only be purchased 60+ days prior to the start of your trip no more than 7 days from when your reservation was made.
- Trip Cancellation Protection is not available inside of 60 days from arrival at the marina and cannot be cancelled or transferred once purchased. Cancellation Policy
A reservation is confirmed only after receipt of all requested deposits by the due dates shown on invoice. Failure to pay deposits/payments by their due date will result in the loss of your reservation and, in the case of final payment not being paid on time, will subject your reservation to any applicable cancellation fees (as outlined in Cancellation Policies below).
- Small Watercraft Policies: if you must cancel watercraft reservation (PWC, Pontoons, Deck Boats, etc.) You must notify us at least 3 days prior (72 hours) to your departure date to avoid a cancellation penalty. Any cancellation received within 3 days (72 hours) of your departure date will result in the loss of your deposit or 1-day rental rate plus taxes. Your small watercraft reservation will be canceled if you do not pay the balance due on your reservation by the due date. Cancellation for non-payment will result in the loss of your deposit. Note: The full balance of your small watercraft rental is due 21 days prior to your departure date.
- Important: Full payment is due at least 60 days prior to departure date. If full rental payment is not received at least 60 days prior to departure date, your reservation will be considered cancelled and your entire deposit will be forfeited. Please note: that reservations made less than 60 days prior to departure date must be paid in full within 48 hours of making your reservation. If you must reschedule your vacation or change your equipment rental during the same year, there is a $50.00 service fee when the original departure date is more than 60 days in advance. Rescheduling less than 60 days prior to the original departure date may result in loss of deposit and/or payments the same as a cancellation (see above). Due to the limited quantity of available craft and the advanced nature of houseboat reservations, it is important to note that there are no expectations to the cancellation policy due to personal emergencies. For this reason, we recommend Trip Cancellation Protection for boat rental reservation.
Trip Cancellation Protection
Plans change. Emegencies happen. Trip Cancellation Protection is a valuable option for groups that make last minute changes to their reservations. This option protects you vacation investment in case of the need for cancellation of your rental
- When you purchase this protection, your houseboat deposit and rental payment become fully refundable if you cancel your trip due to an emergency, whether it is for medical, professional, or personal reasons.
- Trip Cancellation may only be purchased 60+ days prior to the start of your trip no more than 7 days from when your reservation was made.
- Trip Cancellation Protection is not available inside of 60 days from arrival at the marina and cannot be cancelled or transferred once purchased. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will be at discretion of Antelope Point Marina
- Start and End/Cut-off times are based on Arizona Time Zone.
- This experience requires good weather. Antelope Point has the right to cancel due to poor weather, in which case you will be refunded for your full rental.

- Entrance Fee: Be aware we are located within the Navajo Nation land and an entrance fee of $30.00 is required to enter. (National Park Service Pass, Golden Age Pass, Senior Pass will get you in free of charge.
- Tours: Tours are weather permitted and can cancel due to extreme weather. Once the tour begins there are no stops along the way or upon arrival.

Cancellation Policy
If cancellations are made at least 48 hours prior to the tour date, the tour fee will be 100% refundable. For cancellations, made within 48 hours, fees are non-refundable. For tour groups of 10 or more people, cancellations need to be made 72 hours prior to tour date for a complete refund. Antelope Point Holdings, LLC. reserves the right to reschedule or cancel boat tours due to adverse weather, lake conditions or insufficient number of people. In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling by us, your payment will be refunded, or applied to another trip at your discretion.

- Houseboat Payment Policy: A deposit of first day rental price is required to make a reservation (this payment goes towards the total reservation price). Houseboat rental must be fully paid for 60 days prior to the trip’s departure. Houseboat rental not paid in full will be cancelled on the 59th day and a cancellation fee will be applied.
- Houseboat Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel your houseboat reservation notify us at least 60 days prior to your departure date.
- 60 days or more from departure day = $150 cancellation fee per houseboat.
- 45-59 days prior to departure day = loss of deposit.
- 0-44 days prior to departure = loss of full prepayment.

The Antelope Point Marina Boat Tours office is located down at the Marina Village next to APM Marina Store on the lake. When you arrive at the top of the Marina your next step is to check-in.
- After you pass the fee booth you will then take the second right.
- Park your vehicle in the customer parking lot.
- Make your way to Guest Services and ask for a ride down to the Boat Tours office located on the lake.
- Check-in at Boat Tours office 45 min before your tour time.
