The Point - September 2010

The Joys of Fall Boating on Lake Powell!

Fall is absolutely my favorite time on Lake Powell. The weather is perfect with days in the mid 80’s, great for hiking, lake exploring or just sitting back and soaking up some rays. The nighttime temps drop down to a wonderful 65 degrees, perfect for enjoying the night sky, telling stories around the campfire or sleeping on the top deck. The water temperature is a perfect 76 degrees, just right for, wakeboarding, skiing, and swimming. The crowds have all left and September and October offer more days of sunshine and less wind than any other months on Lake Powell. The stripe bass go into a feeding frenzy and striper boils are everywhere making the fall one of the best times to fish. When you hear a houseboater say that "it's all about fall" they are definitely trying to tell you something. It's just a plain wonderful time of year to be out on Lake Powell, America's favorite houseboating destination. No crowds, perfect weather, and great fishing … it just doesn’t get any better than Lake Powell in the fall! Fall really does have it all!

Satisfied Customers

The attention to detail and customer service was incredible. Our group rented four of your Luxury 70' Houseboats and they were incredible. Nothing but raves from our 52 passengers. We had a wonderful time those four days and are planning to attend again next year.
